Living in big cities we are somewhat removed from the difficulties of life faced by children of socially and financially challenged families in rural and semi-urban areas. Very often the children of laborers spend their days at the construction site where the parents are working. The child of a cobbler or a flower seller will end up as juvenile beggars since the family cannot earn enough to make ends meet. The loss of an earning parent due to an accident or to illness and disease has a devastating effect on the fortunes of these families and to the future of the children. The lack of education opens up these children to vagrancy and limits their future by foreclosing opportunities for employment 

We are taking small steps by ensuring a secure future for these children by providing scholarships for their education, our program is called ” Academic Adoption “. We visit schools and meet the teachers and children personally and verify their background and circumstances to make sure that the funds are being used responsibly. The Organization takes over the educational and academic requirements of children from weak and challenged socio-economic backgrounds whose parents cannot afford to put their children through school. These include families of daily wage labor, cobblers, widowed mothers.
